We are pleased to welcome Michael Allen to McCauley Lyman as a Senior Attorney. One of the most experienced renewable energy attorneys in Wisconsin, Michael brings over 25 years of renewable energy and utility experience to our practice. His past and current clients include a publicly traded utility, solar developers and installers, engineering firms, colleges, start-up companies and non-profit organizations. His work extends beyond the energy sector, also representing clients in general real estate and corporate transactions. Michael has extensive experience handling the breadth of work serving our clients, and is passionate about supporting the transition to a clean energy economy.
Michael is a first-generation American, holds both British and United States citizenship, and is fiercely proud of his family history. He is passionate about several charitable causes, including libraries and blood donation, having served on nonprofit boards in each field and donated, at last count, nearly fifteen gallons of blood. He loves music, which runs through several generations in his family; Michael's grandmother was a concert violinist and his son is a drummer for several Madison-area bands. He himself has six musical instruments which he doesn't play nearly enough, and he regularly sings karaoke.
