Project Sales & Acquisitions

The firm has been retained by some of its clients specifically to assist with acquiring or selling projects (and project portfolios) at various stages of their development. These instances can range from as little as simply holding a Letter of Intent with a prospective electricity customer, to a fully developed and operating stable of projects.  In these engagements, the principal assignment is to prepare offering information or perform due diligence review, negotiate transaction documents (LOIs, asset/interest purchase agreements, etc.), and overlook their performance.

Clients & Counterparties

On the client side, the firm typically represents:
  • developers,
  • project acquirers,
  • power purchasers (private and municipal), and
  • landowners.
In transactional matters of all sizes, representative counterparties have included:
  • big box stores,
  • commercial real estate companies,
  • farmers,
  • municipalities,
  • private and public schools, and
  • universities.
