We are pleased to announce Maria Bries as McCauley Lyman’s newest partner! As a partner, Ms. Bries will continue to represent developers, contractors, investors and lenders in a variety of transactions in the renewable energy sector relating to project development, financing, acquisitions and sales, joint ventures, real estate and regulatory.
Attorney Don McCauley was honored to serve as a Panelist on Public Private Partnerships: Contracts and Contract Management in a program held April 23 - 26 in Bangkok, Thailand. The program was organized by the Department of Commerce's Commercial Law Development Program and the Public Private Partnership Authority of Bangladesh.
Attorneys Maria Bries, Beckett Senter and Michael Allen will be attending the Midwest Solar Expo in Chicago, May 20 – 22. They’re excited to talk with developers, contractors, industry leaders and others about the many Illinois solar programs (IL Shines, IL Solar for All, IL Indexed REC program) we’ve worked on with clients this year, as well as new federal issues under the IRA including Direct Pay, PWA Requirements and the enhanced Section 179D Deduction.
We're excited to share that Attorney Maria Bries will be moderating a panel entitled, "The Evolving Capital Stack & Financier Community for Clean Energy Project Finance" at the upcoming SEIA 2024 Executive Strategy Summit, which precedes next week's RE+ Southeast conference. For more on clean energy project finance, read Maria’s post here.

We are happy to welcome Bryan Pellerin to the McCauley Lyman team as a Senior Attorney. Byran brings over 25 years of commercial real estate, financing, and business transactions experience, including extensive real estate development and finance work. His focus will be on real estate/energy development and transactions, asset purchases and sales, project development for renewable energy projects, and other corporate and business matters. Before joining McCauley Lyman, Bryan was a partner at D’Amante, Couser, Pellerin & Associates, P.A. in Concord, NH.
Personally, Bryan has served his town as a Selectman, a member of its Economic Development Committee, and a member of its Open Space Committee. NH Governor Maggie Hassan appointed Bryan to serve on the Merrimack River Valley Flood Control Commission in NH’s negotiations with Massachusetts, of which he was Chair. Bryan also coached his children’s soccer and baseball teams. We are pleased to welcome Bryanna C. Frazier as McCauley Lyman’s newest Attorney. Bryanna has practiced as a transactional lawyer since 2016, primarily handling commercial real estate and business transactions, with several years of experience handling affordable housing development work, as well. Her transactional experience provides a solid grounding to support our renewable energy clients.
Bryanna enjoys using her LLM in Taxation as a volunteer attorney with the Southeast Louisiana Legal Services Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. She is licensed to practice in Louisiana. The McCauley Lyman team is looking forward to RE+ in Las Vegas, NV, September 11 - 14. Visit us on Sands Level 2, Booth 353.
